In Rainbows is a good call. Their last great album before they started losing my interest

Cowboys from Hell and Vulgar Display were Pantera at their best.
They did a great cover on their subsequent album - the rest was ok

    I support this statement. :)

Personally, I cannot listen to "Moving Pictures" all the way through without playing my guitar along with it. It would be impossible. Rush is the only reason I ever wanted to, and do, play guitar. If I had to give you a count on how many times I've played "Tom Sawyer" on guitar at this point, then it would be at least 4000 times. I still play it at least 3 times a week.

Ones already listed that I agree with:

Weezer, Blue - So happy to see this listed not once but twice. Every single track is pure perfection. Man, do I miss me some old school Weezer. So sad to see what they've become...
Public Enemy, Nation - again...every single track. The quintessential PE album
Radiohead, OK Computer - when I was young and single, I used to open a box of cheap wine and listen to this one start to finish. Good times...
Pearl Jam, Vs - PJ just aren't what they used to be since they fired Dave Abbruzzese. Just not the same energy without him.
U2, Unforgettable Fire - U2 + Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois = masterpiece
Pink Floyd, Animals - I like to listen to this one on the way home from gigs just to come down, especially if it's late at night and a long drive.

I actually have grown to like The King of Limbs - yes it is a ridiculously short album and no major statement by them but better than Hail to the Thief, IMO. And A Moon Shaped Pool I thought was just a tad behind The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, and In Rainbows. Those 4 albums will always be the crowning jewels in Radiohead's discography.

Never heard this album. Or loved Garbage. But I swear this album had like 8 radio singles on it in the 90s so I believe you.

This. Dark Side and The Wall get all the attention but Animals is a masterpiece as well.

willie - red headed stranger. the songs on the album tell a story with themes that pop back up. you have to listen to the whole thing to appreciate it.

lots of floyd mentions here, but nobody else said meddle yet? its got my all-time favorite song of theirs in "fearless" and then the 20+ minute echoes. thats a great start-to-finish listen.

others off the top of my head....
    prince - purple rain
    beach boys-pet sounds
    my bloody valentine-loveless
cure-distentigration & kiss me, kiss me, kiss me
U2 - war & unforgettable fire. i love joshua tree, but when i listen now i skip the first 3 songs - they just got played out for me over the decades
    cocteau twins-heaven or las vegas
    funkadelic - maggot brain

I usually listen to full albums and prefer artists who can sustain the performance throughout. Favorites would be too numerous to mention but here's a few, and for most of these the list is "all of them."

Beatles - Revolver, Sgt Pepper, Abbey Road...
Who - Tommy, Quadrophenia, Who's Next...
Stones - Sticky Fingers, Exile, Get Yer Yaya's Out...
Zappa - Overnite Sensation, Apostrophe, One Size Fits All, Hot Rats, well, all of them...
Lou Reed - Transformer, Rock n Roll Animal, Street Hassle, New York...
Bob Dylan - all of them...Blonde on Blonde, Desire, Freewheelin...
Grateful Dead - Live/Dead, American Beauty, Terrapin Station...
Neil Young - After the Gold Rush, Tonight's the Night, On the Beach...
New Order - Power Corruption & Lies
    Clash - Sandinista, London Calling...
Patti Smith - first one, Radio Ethiopia, Peace & Noise, Easter...all of em
    Gil Scot Heron - Reflections,
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick, Aqualung...
The Band - Music from Big Pink, all of them
Manfred Mann - The Roaring Silence
    Steppenwolf - Monster
Peter Tosh - Bush Doctor, Equal Rights...
Hendrix - Electric Ladyland, Purple Haze
Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Madman Across the Water, all the early stuff
Talking Heads - Remain in Light, Stop Making Sense, duh, all of them
Warren Zevon - Excitable Boy, Sentimental Hygiene, Stand in the Fire...

Sorry, I got carried away but barely started...
