Brady doesnt have more superbowls wins, because of the defense.

and why people say that Matt Cassel did the same, with Patriots, it wasnt the same, Cassel, had 5 wins less, the previous season they went 16-0.

and you cant compare Cassel with Painter, both suck, but Cassel is a better player.

Yes he does. The Patriot defenses were amazing pre-2006. Before then, Brady was basically a game-manager.

Cassel was able to aptly run that offense. It calls into doubt how much of that offense is Brady and how much is actually the coach and scheme, because Cassel is not a good QB.

Cassel probably is better, but not enough to explain the gap. Manning means more to his team than Brady does to his, I think that's a pretty reasonable conclusion from the evidence we've been given.

I still think Brady > Manning, but Brady wasn't great today while Manning was, and that was the game.

    However...Denver's weapons >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> New England's "weapons"

    Tom is fine either way.

"See, he's doing it with these no names!"
"Not Tom's fault. He's doing it with these no names."

Manning has proven he can be elite no matter who the coach.

I highly doubt Brady succeeds as much as he has on teams not coached by Belichick.

It's funny, how you could exchange Manning with LeBron...and same principle applies. I do know a majority of the media and fandom is guilty of that.

It's usually physically superior, like LeBron, Marino, Wilt, and even in baseball, which is like the ultimate team sport, you see players, like A-Rod or Bonds branded with a teams playoff failures.

If Brady had to go up against Belichick, I would expect him to have the same if not worse record.

It really is about Peyton vs. Belichick.

Sure, but it's not like everyone relevant suddenly dropped like flies. Pats have had almost the entire season to play without the likes of Gronk, Wilfork.

Of course, the team would be better with those guys, but it's not like the Pats had to adjust on the fly.

You give Manning the defenses Brady has been blessed with, it's safe to say he would have more than 1 SB ring. Great defenses give a quarterback an extra cushion to play with. The year Manning won was the year he had the best defense of his career. If he wins this year, it's simply b/c he arguably led the best offense ever.

    Brady.

Give Brady the weapons manning had all the time, he would be doing just as great and better (examples: randy Moss, Gronk).

Manning has had great receivers all the time.

Sure defense has allowed Brady to win superbowls, but he has done his part also durin the superbowls.

Give manning bad receivers and great defense then give Brady great receivers and decent defense. Brady would dominate.

Manning has spent his entire career being just as much of a kingmaker as Brady, if not more, considering he has changed coaches and teams.

Pierre Garcon, Austin Collie, Anthony Gonzalez, Dallas Clark, Brandon Stokely... all owe their entire careers to Manning.

What did Julius Thomas, Demerius Thomas, and Eric Decker do before Peyton Manning rode into town? Not much.

I'll agree that Peyton has had more offensive talent to play with through his career. But it's not like Brady hasn't had some weapons too (Moss, Branch, Hernandez/Gronk, Welker, Dillon, etc).

Yeah, this is true. Both guys make teammates better. Brady just happened to lose a crap load of talent throughout the season unexpectedly. Not much time to recover from it when it happens in-season. Yet they still won games. Belichick man, this was an amazing Belichick year.
