It's facisnating you think your stratedgy of ignoring everyone's posts and asking questiosns to throw them off your trail of manning insanity is working. Please try something different. Like an all caps post with lots of exclamation marks.

    hell yes.

the colts don't want Peyton, and that should tell you plenty.

too expensive, too old, too damaged.

Schaub is cheaper, younger, and most of all...can throw still throw a football.

there's not a team in the entire NFL, given the circumstances as they sit now, who would rather have Peyton manning over matt Schaub.

the fact that you don't realize this is sad.

why would the Colts get rid of Manning (HOF QB), and draft Andrew Luck (hasnt played a single game in the NFL)?

why do you think the Colts wants to release Peyton? why do you think they dont want to pay him 28 million to a HOF QB?

congrats, you answered the question. rep to you for being the only one to take the stance that you would unload peyton manning for matt schaub, even if it was followed by an attempt at an insult.

i now suspect others will jump on your bandwagon and say things like "of course i agree with him, i didn't think any of that needed to be said", now that you made it ok for them to take the same stance.

    answer this:

why the ravens are working on an offer for flacco, instead of get rid of him and acquire Peyton Manning?

um, because they have the ability to draft andrew luck, and because they aren't on the brink of a super bowl??

    terrible post.

mistake. want to bet me $5000 that the ravens don't win the super bowl in the next 2 years?

and how many more of your questions should i answer without you answering one of mine?

With the injury happening on Schaub's plant foot, his recovery is definitely not certain. Ty Law is one player I can think of that couldn't come back after he suffered a similar injury. I really don't trust what Schaub is saying about coming back by OTAs and training camp. We are still only halfway through the process in which no weight should even be put in the foot.

There is something to it. If they knew Peyton would still be Peyton, I believe they would stick with him over an unproven rookie qb. He gives the colts a chance at another super bowl.

He started every game and made the Pro Bowl with a career-high 10 INTs the following year.

It has likely been ignored because, no offense - it's a stupid question: No team would knowingly replace an injured player with an injured player. Which is why the Peyton Manning conjecture is so ridiculous.

If you force me to pretend my brain has detached and that I'm capable of engaging in mindless sports drivel, I'm with Donny - Schaub is less hurt, younger, cheaper, and has five years in this system with most of these players. As I said in my post - it's a no-brainer - QB is not a position that, on *paper, needs upgrading.

    * if, obviously, Schaub is a no-go next September, they'll need an upgrade. But not with Peyton Manning.

This. It's an idiotic question considering the numerous question marks about Peyton right now.

that's the answer i was hoping for. so now remember, you are on record admitting that, at minimum, you think schaub injury may be even worse than peyton's.

if schaub was less hurt, and manning was done for, he'd obviously say that unloading manning for schaub would be a no-brainer. instead, he said that "no team would knowingly replace an injured player with an injured player".

the same guy that has no interest in manning, says that a team would be stupid to unload manning for schaub. nothing he says really adds up.

    Yea, Manning would be great.

I love all that film of him moving behind a zone blocking scheme, rolling out on bootlegs, and running an offense being set up by the run.

Or, maybe we could just rework the offense blocking scheme. We'll use all that extra cap space we have to find the right personnel. Maybe pick up a few anchors for the line out of the draft while we're at it. Can't rightly expect our current line to hold a pocket like Manning is used to right? That would be crazy talk.
