Manhattan student who 'bedded' teacher scores $400 in wager with buddies

As great as this may be to some of you (yea...high fives all around), it's a low thing to do even for students as the outcome basically seeks to ruin her over a trivial bet. This isn't a "Seinfeld" episode. Maybe she didn't show up because she committed suicide? I wouldn't have a problem with her taking revenge on the dude personally.

 

Yeah, yeah, whatever floats your boat.....The real question is...did he hit it?

This is just cruel. They should have just kept it on the down low.

 

I hope she didn't commit suicide or anything like that...but assuming she didn't...it's hard for me to have any pity for her.

I have a hard time having sympathy for people who create their own problems. An easy way to avoid being put in this type of situation is to NOT HAVE AN AFFAIR WITH YOUR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT.



BTW, I got Rush tickets this week as an early Father's Day gift. Can't WAIT until December 2nd!

Yea...I agree she has herself to blame. But, these guys were coming on strong throwing all their charms at her under their plan. It would be like 4 cute girls endlessly flirting with a male teacher cornering him until he caved. How many men could resist that after a while versus just doing what is right? I bet half of them at least would cave.

isnt this like the plot to never been kissed mixed with shes all that? a week from now the guy will find her drowning her sorros at some local restaurant that she told him she likes because the cook makes a dish just like her dead grandma used to make. he will tell her that yes he took the bet but that was before he got to know her for the person she is and that what he did was very immature and he knows it hurt her. then she slaps him and starts walking away right before he admits to her he always had feelings for her but never the confidence to approach her. so while the bet was stupid it forced him to act on his feelings and for that he's not sorry because he now knows she liked him too. then she turns around slowly while tal bachman's "she's so high" plays in the background.

Wasn't a prank, it was a bet. And the teacher didn't have to kiss him, he didn't go up and kiss her, THAT is a prank.

26 year old hotties should not be teaching 18 year olds.

 

What would be really cool...considering this is a movie in the making...is if she went all vigilante on them, tracked them down one by one, gunned each one down in a fit of rage, and then went to jail.

Then, the Lifetime movie comes out. Who plays the lead woman role? Snookie? lol

 

Or you know little about women and emotions.

Not that I excuse her for her behavior, but its not like she was out looking for a romantic excursion with her students. I find it disturbing that so many "applaud" the guys behavior for ruining someones professional career simply because she was "hot".

Seriously, do they have a course that teachers take on not falling prey to students' emotional, flirtatious, and/or sexual advances? If not, then they need one. It should be required before you can teach.

Also, they need to make repurcussions to students who partake in this kind of thing much more serious. Otherwise, the picture I get is the school system basically condones this as it's "cool for the student to try to bag the teacher babe". Shouldn't it be up to the school system to make this as uncool as possible for both the involved parties? Whatever happens to the student in these cases besides them bragging and/or tattling...besides the pats on the backs from fellow students? I think a full school year suspension should be mandatory and used as a deterrent. Hey...you participate in this as a student...it will set you back an entire school year...so go for it! It's like they treat students like they are just victims when they are nowhere near victims and usually the instigators.
