Calm down??? Our national debt is approaching 20 trillion. It has MORE than DOUBLED under Obama. We have taken on more debt under Obama than ALL of the previous presidents before him combined. Yea, I need to calm down and want more of the same with Shrillary. Get your head out of your ass and actually look at the situation.

Talk radio, cable news, internet blogs and what were once mainstream magazines have all aligned politically and more cooperatively rehearse, develop and disseminate talking points for like-minded readers. People respect their parties nowadays more than any of the governmental processes and will vote for their guy more evenly. I do think the "wasted vote" narrative for blues in red states and vice-versa is a little more ridiculous this year, but Trump will avoid a Goldwater/McGovern type loss because people are voting party, not candidate.

I just don't see it. There have been a ton of big names that have abandoned the Republican party over Trump. I mean, more than half of the Republican party is against him, when you can't even win over the party you are supposed to represent, how can you possibly hope to win?

Trump represents people who were registered Democrats as of 2008, but pretended to be conservatives after that because they are racist douchebags. I'm not sure how many people that is, but it's nowhere near enough to win or even be competitive.

 

I would have voted for O'Malley, Biden, or a lot of others if they had run. I won't vote for Hillary. While many people may not have been enthusiastic voting for a candidate that wasn't Bernie, I don't think it would have been as severe as it is now.

Anyway, most Bernie voters will actually vote for Hillary. I was actually referring to the undecided middle of the road voter. They come into the race with a built-in dislike for Hillary. But another candidate wouldn't have all that baggage with them.

 

If all the racists supporting Trump were democrats prior to 2008, GWB never would have gotten two terms.

 

That is why I wish instead of Hillary it was Warren who ran, she would have easily won the nomination and probably be up by 20% in the polls now.

 

I said that's who Trump represents, not that it's everyone who is supporting him. There are a ton of extremely partisan Republicans that put party first.

 

So you're saying that even after the DNC leaks, after Biden who is for TPP (his boss is for TPP after all), that he is the ultimate "I'm for status quo" candidate, that he would be accepted by the Bernie revolutionaries?

That honestly makes no sense to me. Biden is as establishment as Clinton. He was picked by Obama precisely because he's establishment. He had a hand in all the messes in the Middle East, probably more so, than Clinton given that he was VP for 8 years whereas Clinton was only SOS for 4. Yet the young liberals are going to vote for him? And Biden would receive less support from blacks and less support from women, both demographics that Hilary kills.

I'm not saying he'd be a worse candidate than Hilary. But clearly better is stretching it. Any mainstream democratic nominee after months of mudslinging from left and the right would look like corporate w**** by one side and Muslim lover by the other.

Tens of thousands of innocent people have been killed as a direct result of Obama's foreign policy incompetence and pushing for regime change and overthrow of secular dictators in favor of islamic zealots. This was a direct factor in the rise of ISIS in Syria. If you want to see the consequences of Obama's incompetence, go to sites like bestgore and watch the unedited videos of brutal murders being committed by ISIS. That would not be happening if the US had partnered with the legitimate Syrian government instead of strangling them with sanctions and casting our lot with "moderate" rebels who despise us almost as much as ISIS themselves.

Not to mention that race relations in the US are now worse than at any time in my lifetime. And, depending on whose numbers you choose to believe, the national debt has increased by either $7 billion or $9 billion under Obama's watch.
