he only has like 26 hr. Thats way below averge. I know he came of surgery but he had time.

Will Jeff ever hit 40hr again or will his stats go down with his age like so many others. He has 3 yrs left, i say if he starts to get worse he should call it quits.

Over the last 10 weeks, Bagwell has been a force. He started off slow, but he is back to his old self.

If you have watched Bagwell at all this year, you can see how bad his shoulder still is. He throws very poorly. His throws have gotten better as the season has progressed, but it may be as much as he has 'relearned' how to throw as opposed to his shoulder getting better.

As rezdawg accurately pointed out, since July 1, Bagwell has been his old self at the plate.

Did you see that crap throw he made to Ausmus last night, his shoulder must be in bad shape.

He only had minor surgery on it, what is the problem?

I believe they found more damage in there than they expected. His throws have been abysmal all year, although they have generally improved between April and August. According to Bagwell, he was disappointed that it bothers him as much as it did last year. He thinks that it will be better by spring training. Of course, he may have an extra week to rest this year.

Bonds only has 41 hr this year too. Pitching has made a difference this year.
