...I don't know why everyone is talking about luck with Jabari - he is a very good player as expected at the 3 pick. We can argue about his floor/ceiling all day and regardless on where you are on that argument I think most would agree he brings at least a few things this team needs....but the REAL luck was in getting Tari Eason outside the lottery. I don't know how it happened but I feel like if we redrafted today he would go much higher and really, for what our team needs(wing depth), he seems like the perfect 3 and D player and explosive athlete to run with this team. Just a stunning pick by Stone as we continue to add interesting pieces to this roster. So excited to get a poor man's Kawhi Leonard on this team!

I don't watch a lot of college basketball, but how did he fall to 17? I mean outside of the top 4, he has just as much upside as anyone with a pretty encouraging floor...

lol so many years of following nba and you still didnt learn the public hype is always misleading, mayority of GMs are clueless and the order in which players are drafted is pretty much meaningless...

top 30 players in nba is pretty much fluid itself and changes every year...how come then 19 years old players talent and ability is set in stone?

Will say it again, Tari was the key to this draft.

    @Medicine N Music strikes again!

I thought he made lightning strike twice, but with the JC thread, it has actually been three times already.

    Incredible.

At least in college he was really turnover prone, especially with passes. He also didn’t show a high basketball IQ Overall - and while his shooting percentages improved drastically his form still looks bad in threes. And I am not sure but I think he was also fouling a whole lot.

That being said, he looks like a steal. He will have a very well defined role for us - he will probably be the 4th option on offense. If he learns to play within the system he should be great!

He got invites to tryouts, but rumor mill was saying he got low iq.

I'm sure that can be worked on with effort and watching tapes. But that has to be consistent and well after a big payday.

    5th at best.

    Jalen
    Alpi
    Jabari
    KPJ
    Tari

And I would think Gordon will be ahead of him as long as he is here as well.

I hope it will be like this and KPJ will reinvent himself as an assist man, first and foremost. Realistically, KPJ will still try to take more shots than Alpi and Jabari, and I don't like that. Alpi in the post and Jabari from outside will both be very efficient shots.

With that low IQ, maybe Tari doesn't realize it, but he's about to be the the fan favorite on the team. Fans will love him.

Relax, I'm kidding about the low IQ. I just know that was the big knock on him.

That’s fine. Tari just needs to knock down those corner 3’s like he did last night. All his other points can come on hustle points. His defense and energy are key. If he ends up all Tall Tate with a knock down corner 3 he is part of our core going forward.
