I don't see how the guy could win the case... If the guy went in for treatment, it's the doctor's job to do everything in his power prevent something like this from happening in the future...
I'm quite glad that I was circumcised as an infant and I will have any sons I have circumcised as well. It's cleaner, and more attractive.
Cleaner? Do you not bathe often? It's called soap. In the 21st century, in America, we do have access to things like water and soap. Soap that will make your no-no spot smell like lillies on a spring day. Clean? Leaving your babies' urinary tract exposed to its own feces is really clean. More attractive? To who? YOU think circumcized penises are more attractive? Ok, that's creepy. Your wife thinks it's more attractive? OK, but it's not like your wife is going to be going all Ophelia with your son. Why not just let the kid decide when he's old enough? Take the whole baby home. I've had plenty of girlfriends and not one of them has said "Ew, I'm not going to do _____ bc you're not circumsized." Yes, even the Jewish girls. They just don't care! If I ever encountered a woman who did, I'd tell her that I'll cut mine off when she cuts off her labia or ****oris. Of course, I'd never do that but you get the point. The vagina's not a very clean thing compared to the penis. The kind of girl who would avoid uncircumsized penises are the same types who would also deny that they have a butthole. Everyone's met these girls. The Paris Hiltons. You pretty much ONLY want to have sex with them. Big loss. The only excuse is conformity. Just watch one being performed and I doubt you'll feel the same way about it. They should make parents watch one beforehand bc most people haven't the first clue about the process or the actual lack of scientific basis behind it. No one talks about it, which is why you have so many jokes when it's brought up. By reenforcing the myths behind it, we're suggesting that to not do it is wrong or even worse, gross.
I think he may have been offended by the content of the thread. I have no problem with circumcision. I had it done, and I didn't even feel it! I think it's cruel when you wait to do it, though. That's just wrong.
Uh, why? How about giving me some props for sticking my balls out there for others' possible benefit. What's amazing is that you guys are so wierded out that I'd be initiating a discussion on this. I wonder why... it's not that big of a deal to talk about. Or at least it shouldn't be among thoughtful (meaning you give thought, not that you're a puss) mature individuals.
