Idiots are not dangerours by themselves. Readily availiable guns make them dangerous.

Exactly. Anybody who uses a gun as a drill would be a danger in pretty much any circumstance.

Sorry, but idiots are dangerous no matter what. A whole lote more of them kill people with their cars than with guns.

I don't feel that way. I think he should be tried as an idiot and when found guilty be tarred and feathered.

Nail guns serve a practical purpose. So do cars.

Handguns serve no other purpose than to harm someone.

I wonder the same thing. I had to use a rocket launcher a little while back for one of those.

My grandad was installing gas heat in the Blanco County jail back in the 50's & put a hole in the ceiling with a .44

LOL.. Overreacting, probably. Coyotes are pretty timid. A good loud yell will scare one off just as well if not better than a gunshot. There are unfortunately a lot of coyotes in my home province these days. They are a problem because they are killing moose calves.

This is such crap. I own 3 handguns. I have used them many, many times. To date, not a single person or animal has been hurt.

They are call ranges, and I enjoy it.

Unless you hop downrange dressed as a piece of paper with circles and numbers on it, you have little to fear.

Oh...and by the way...if somebody breaks into my house, I can defend myself from the intruder. The intruder, ironically, probably has a gun.

It's called an even playing field.

If you started banning things because they are dangerous in the hands of an idiot, we soon would have nothing left.

For those who want murder charges as opposed to manslaughter...murder requires the intent to kill her. Manslaughter requires no such intent. This is unless firing a gun in the city where this happened is a felony, in which case a felony murder indictment may stand.

Overreacting? It was in the process of killing my uncles dog, and yelling had no effect. It was pretty big for a coyote so it might have been some kind of hybrid. Anyway, keep living in a fantasy mathematical construct where bad things will probably never happen to anyone.

Meh.. It's impossible to argue with Americans about gun control, so I'm not going to get into it any further. Probably shouldn't have even bothered in the first place. Enjoy your little personal arsenal. :p
