Man shoots daughter's boyfriend for watching Cowboys

    Even at 0-2 and floundering, you Cowboys fans can't get enough of your beloved team. So much so, in fact, that it appears you’re more than willing to be shot just to make sure you get your weekly dose of holding penalties and poorly timed bubble screens.

    Austin, Texas police believe a man was shot over a Dallas Cowboys football game.

    Police arrested 66-year-old Robert "Jugg" Johnson Sunday for allegedly shooting his daughter's boyfriend, Darius Maxwell.

    Officers say the men fought after Johnson refused to allow Maxwell to watch the Cowboys game on his television.

    Cops say at some point the scuffle escalated and Maxwell sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound, while Maxwell was arrested on an aggravated assault charge.

    The daughter says her father was angry because Maxwell was always coming over and "acting like he owned the place."

    First of all, never upset any man who goes by the handle Jugg. That’s just asking for trouble. I’ve never met anyone named Jugg, but you better believe I’m going to assume they’re armed if I ever do.

    Secondly, are you really sure you want to watch the Cowboys right now, Darius? I know you missed the game because Jugg wouldn’t let you watch, and because he then shot you. But I assure you, you probably don’t want to see what’s transpiring with this team. It’s like being shot, only with more interceptions. Best that you be ignorant of the circumstances and assume Dallas won. That way, we can prevent you from being shot AGAIN.

    Although, in Jugg's favor, I do support any man who shoots his future son-in-law for being too possessive with the remote. You better show some RESPECT before you go changing the channel to “She Spies,” fella.
