I love: The Houston Dynamo, The Houston Rockets, Shane Battier, SF3, Dream, Mario Ellie, Clyde, Cuttino, Tmac, 13 points in 35 seconds, 22 Wins, Coming back from 3-1, Rudy T, JVG, RA, Clutchcity, Clutchcity Again.
if you watched the last game of the playoffs against the jazz and still hate tmac, then you are nuts. he held the team up on his broken knees all alone. nobody in that game helped tmac, nobody. i love francis, but he doesnt help the rockets with his broken joints either. forget these guys and deke, bring back drexler and the dream. the dream now is still better than most centers out there.
Nah, this would be a stupid thread the day the seasons starts, but for now, hey we need to give love as much as we all criticize. Buy yeah, that post you quoted should have merited a flat-out suspension from here. Not cool.
I agree but why does the love/hate tmac constantly find it's way into nearly every thread and eventually hijack that thread. nearly everything that can be said about tmac has been. I just don't see the need to say it again and again and again and again..........I almost want the guy traded just so we can at least hear new complaints about Billups and Prince or whoever....... Love him or hate him, he obviously isn't going anywhere, at least STFU and support him because he is a ROCKET, and that is Yo TEAM!
The Houston Rockets.....The Greatest Show On Earth... I LOVE MY ROCKETS --------------------------------DISCLAIMER I would actually hurt something over this team....Beware!
I swear if the Espy's dont at least mention The 22 game winning streak Im going to murder Justin Timberlake!!
I'm a rockets fan and right now I can't stand not having rox games to watch. It seems like it will be forever before the season starts. oh, to those that hate tmac, if he hit an nba finals game 7 shot for the title what would you think then I think at this point we are better with him than without him and the players we would get in return.
I'm not sure, but I can't think of any other team/person/player that would qualify for..."Best Record-Breaking Performance ESPY Award, presented to the record-breaking single-play, game or season performance, irrespective of sport contested or gender of participating sportsperson, adjudged to be the most remarkable, significant, or impressive in a given year (2001)." While the streak did exactly break a record it was as close as anyone is going to get...
