Yeah, normally there are these thing called "heavy" trash pick up days.. And some folks thought you probably are trying to get rid of it so they just took it... Watch what you put near the curb. I've seen brand new looking refrigerators, washer / dryer, and dressers on the curb people were trying to get rid of. A basketball goal qualifies..

Did you write your name on it? If you saw your goal on someone else's driveway, then how could you prove it was your goal? Does it have a serial # on it you wrote down. Maybe you should move it into your garage when you are not using it? It is pretty petty to steal basketball goals. Somebody is desperate.
Are you violating some kind of Homeowners Association or City code by having that thing out there? Maybe some kind of code is being enforced and they are removing it.
Even if so, they can't just remove it themselves. You would get a notice in the mail. And then eventually fined if you don't comply. Where the hell does he live that they are able to steal 3 basketball goals? Lol I get one, but three? Damn son
