he got hit by a taser. Tasers make you move uncontrollably.

He had his hands up the whole time, even with just one police officer there. Then at the end when four officers are on him he decides to reach for his pockets??? Nah, he got hit by a taser as the police chief says (naming the officer who did it), and dropped his hands while getting hit with 25,000 volts or whatever it is. Then bang.

I know this is the D&D and almost anything goes without repercussions but threads like this are a disgrace. Doesn't get any lower than twisting stories and mocking a dead person.

What is his car window made of that he could reach into a CLOSED window on a CLOSED door?

Cops are trigger happy p*****s, but I also don't understand why people can't follow little stupid commands

Disobeying an order by a cop is a big deal, it's something I would never do. I was arrested once, and I can tell you I was very careful to follow all instructions given to me by the police. I didn't agree that I needed to be arrested, but I understood that it would do no good to argue with the officer or disobey their instructions.

I'm not sure what happened in this incedent. The cops said he wasn't following commands. What were they asking him to do? Did the cops think the guy had done something wrong? Was the guy high on drugs and not able to follow commands? Why couldn't the cops just run at him and tackle him? Did the cops think he had a weapon? Did the female cop accidentally fire her weapon when the taser was fired?

What are cops supposed to do when a person is not following commands? If a person is high on drugs or is drunk, then they will probably not follow instructions well.

I have a lot of unanswered questions about this incedent that maybe only a cop can answer. If a person hasn't actually been through police training, then they probably aren't qualified to answer some of my questions. I would like to see the justice department do an investigation so we all can know exactly what happened.

As long as he is not a physical threat to do them harm, one thing they should not do is shoot him.

Found PCP in his car according to a link I saw on yahoo. Even if they found it in his system it wouldn't change with respect to the crime committed by the cop. Saying it does would set a scary precedent for shooting anybody who is suspected for being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, as even a couple of drinks can cause someone to have trouble following commands even if they clearly aren't a danger.

Inpatient psychiatric hospitals would be empty, as a large portion of people there are required to be detained under an order of an NED/OED by a police officer.

Typical liberal BS responses in this thread, calling me a racist. Nothing in my original post was racist at all. Think about it, if this guy had been following police orders, why were there so many cops there with their guns drawn? Come on.

Follow police orders and you greatly increase your chance of coming out alive. If you want to resist and not comply, then your chances of problems increase. Not that hard, folks.

    News flash....

If a cop pulls his gun, the rest will pull their guns also....

The other cops pulled up to a situation as backups and the primary officer has her gun pulled.. That means the backup has to pull their weapons since they don't truly know the entire situation.

The guy was following the orders...

    So my honest question.

Are cops getting more racist or are civilians get more rebellious?

Honest question. Can you connect any dots?

Police are getting more paranoid and civilians are getting more rebellious. Bad combo. When people act out like they did in Dallas and Louisiana, it just makes matters even worse between cops and civilians.

    2 wrongs don't make a right...

Unfortunately, as i keep saying their are bad people on both sides.

I would love to see a candidate say the Hell with the media and get people together and try to work things out..

Clearly defeated, but still too cowardly to admit your mistakes. Ironically enough, it has more to do with your justifications and disrespectful/racist comments than the side of the issue you stand on.

I agree with this, but you see I really don't know what cops are taught in regards to what a physical threat is.

With all the recent cops that have killed blacks (legally or unlegally) don't you think that has to be on their mind when they have a black American pulled over and at gun point? All the officers that have been found innocent, haven't their careers basically been ended? I recall the Ferguson guy, but not sure about the others. To me, it would make me so much more hesitant to pull the trigger unless I had to.
Then again the Dallas and BR stuff doesn't help either I guess.

Idk. I guess I would never want to be a cop for many reasons.
