So hung jury on Penny. Which should be the end of it. But nope… judge says DA can try for lesser charge That’s BS And dead guys family who basically abandoned him all those years are now loud mouths saying the jury are white supremacists. He had 43 prior arrests This is a failure of NYC But let’s blame it on the guy who was protecting innocent people, who’s lives were being openly threatened.
Sadly even if he gets off on both charges the family of the deceased will get Paid in a civil case. Leaving the defendant broke. Unless he gets a media deal of some sort.
Yeah reward the parents that helped put their son in that position to begin with. Bizarro world sucks.
Defending yourself in a murder trial with private lawyers is already a million dollar affair. But maybe after this he can profit off his fame somehow. Do some speaking/write a book/go on podcasts… etc etc.
