I was gonna say... .. I bet the bigwigs pissed off the wrong people in city government, because, as has already been mentioned, this could be done to MANY restaurants.... ...and, in truth, it SHOULD be done to ALL businesses here.
Terrible news for my stomach. I lived down the street from Mambo Parrilla on Wayside and Harrisburg. Fed me so many times that I knew the waitresses well and got discounts.
The police commish must have gotten food poisioning from Mambo's. They could easily hit up and Taqueria chain in Houston and have the same results.
Never been to mambos. I would like to have gone. I think of mambos as the mexican version of hooters because of the waitresses.
in my experience in restaurants. with legal americans specifically white and/ or in their 20s. they HATE to work, now my sample is relatively low, but they complain about working even when they work only 20 hours a week. they complain on every delivery, they complain on any phone call they have to take, the complain when you cut they're hours but dont work the ones they are assigned. And trust me, they have no other job and desperately need the money, but they still dont wanna be there. now these ppl went to the same HS and live in the same area so that might be a reason why, but Jeez do they hate working at restaurants. so id love to see americans doing those jobs. In contrast older people who at a time may have been illegal are the ones we count on the most. I seriously think most americans see these jobs as not worth their time. If the government spend more money on criminals as they do on working illegal residents, then maybe crime wouldnt be so high.
Are you saying you can hook me up with some food? I visit Antoine alot, cause I'm down with the ebony sisters, and I noticed that street has a bunch of cajun restaurants ran by Asian people.
