I love that you live with your parents and needed a hook-up to sack groceries, but you're still too good for tha 'hood. That having been said, you take this job and you'll probably want to kill yourself after any playoffs or championship weekends. Honestly, kick ass in class and just try to gun for some good internships; ask the parents to spring for the A+ certification (even though I hear everyone piss on it and say it's worthless).

Think of a topic you're interested in. Create a website about it. Set up some banners. Some make a lot. Most make enough to get some extra beer money. Every little bit helps. Lastly look at temp agencies. They can generally get you better paying jobs too.

Extra income? How about making some real mother ****ing income? Even at $7.25 working 40 hours per week 52 weeks a year you are making $15,080. If you worked an extra 5 hours per week you would haul in an extra $2,827.50. On an annual income of $17,907.50, if you followed the 1/3 rent to income rule you would need to find an apartment at $497 per month. That leaves $11,938 for everything else. I've seen minimum car liability as low as $30 a month. That leaves you with $11,268. Living off of what is remaining, based on my grocery and gas bill in January - $230 and $220 - at the end of the year that would leave you with $5,868. Factoring in a modest utlility, internet and phone bill at the end of the year you would be left with $4,900. Factor in payroll tax and there is about $3,800. Which can buy you about 3,800 one dollar scratch off lottery tickets.
Walk around your neighboorhood. Find places that need weeds pulled. You could make some decent money doing that, maybe even start a business.
Well it's run by Amazon. Basically you do "shit" work on the computer for smaller companies. Things like doing mindless data transcription, writing a 300 to 500 word paragraph on a topic they give you or answering surveys. If you're fluent in another language and can translate, they have assignments on there for you. Wages can range anywhere from as little as a penny per completed assignment to as high as $25 which is extremely rare. I work overnight's as a phone operator for a hospital. I make about $14.75/hr and spend an hour or two during my shift working on these little assignments. It bumps my wages up to $20/hr whenever I have the patience to withstand how boring it can get. You can be compensated either in the form of an Amazon giftcard or through direct deposit to your bank account. If you're a nightowl and a student, I recommend trying to get a job as a phone operator somewhere. I work alone, earn more because it is an overnight shift but do less work since there are less calls that come in. You can knock out all your homework, and when you're done you can spend hours on the net entertaining yourself or making extra income doing that mechanical turk work. I know a few UT students that do this part time on weekends or weekdays when they can. It's a decent gig.
Find out if there are any airlines or hotel chains that have service/call-centers in your town and do reservations. Even more in that vein, airport or hotel front desk jobs might be a decent place to look.
