Personally, I don't think AD is that much of a playmaker--really in between Sura and James. The main advantage of his over James is the extra size defensively (true combo guard). The downside is AD doesn't shoot nearly as well from the outside as James, and maybe not any better than Sura. Still like him and would trade for him either James or Sura (or Wesley), but I think the net impact would be modest. Stoudemire is a good playmaker and deadly shooter when open. I like him, especially what he would bring offensively, but still I don't think he upgrade the overall roster (DS is probably the most exploitable player defensively among him and James/AD/Sura/Wesley) to the degree SAR would, but I know we are just going to disagree on this.
