The sad, and funny thing is that I can honestly see them not winning a game.

Even if they land an Eddie Robinson, can you name one team that is clearly worse than them? MAYBE the Grizzlies, but they only play them twice a year.

2 of their top 3 players are highschoolers. Us Rockets fans are worried about how a one year college player will do in a limited role, but the Bulls are depending on two, unproven highschoolers to produce.

Most losses in a season ever is a very good possiblity with the team they currently have.

Brad Miller, Marcus Fizer, Ron Artest, Ron Mercer, Jamal Crawford.

Thats the starting lineup w/o a free agent addition. And no highschoolers in sight.

    Give it up.

Are you serious? You can't be. Chandler is an eighteen year traded for his future potential, not his current production.

Come on. This Bulls hate is making you guys unreasonable.

    No, it's called being rational.

What exactly did Fizer and Crawford do last year to prove they could start and be consistent, let alone produce decent numbers?

The reality is, Fizer showed flashes of what he could be, but hardly enough to make one think that he will have a breakout year next season.

Crawford did even less, and got beat out by a second round point guard, El-amin, who was out of shape and had a poor work ethic. Don't give me the excuse I always hear about how Crawford only played so many games of college basketball, and he was basically coming out of highschool blah blah blah. He doesn't have a good outside shot as of right now, I don't think he can be consistent in running a basketball team, and I highly doubt he'll be able to put up good numbers.

Brad Miller? He hustles, and flops to get to the foul line. He has a nice outside touch, but he's not gonna give you much, especially on a team that needs decent production from every position.

Ron Artest is a great defender, but is a horrible shooter, and won't help you on the offensive end next year.

Mercer's the only guy I wouldn't be worried about, and even though he's a good scorer, he'd have to put up gaudy numbers just to make your team half way respectable, which I don't think will happen.

    That makes it worse...

Two middle of the road big men are starting over the guy that you traded your franchise player for.

You just confirmed for me that you know nothing of the Bulls players or talents.

Fizer showed more than enough during the last half of the season and especially during the last 6 weeks to make one think he'd be a good scorer in this league with enough PT at the right position.

Crawfords second talent, after his passing, IS his outside shooting. He had a poor shooting season last year, but again, he was a 19 year old rookie. If you're expecting him to show the savvy of a 4 year collegiate player...<shrug> Doubt all you will, the proof will be in the production. Give the kid some time.

IN ANY CASE---you proffered the opinion that the Bulls would not win a game next season because they had to rely on two 18 year olds. Thats what I replied to, thats what I proved false.

Hey gettinbranded, no one is hating on your team but what everyone says is right. Tacoma put it pretty well. I don't think the bulls will get only 5-7 wins I think they can get more regardless of there roster. Rockets last year snuck up and beat some of the better teams...Teams we couldn't beat on a consistent basis but we did win a couple like that. it is possible to catch a team on a bad night but...yeah seein as we r talking bout bulls I don't know. Highschool b-ball isn't dat bad u know.

Well if you plan on not having them produce next season, then plan on having no bench as well.

    Good luck.

I don't hate the Bulls though...

But they will definitely suck next season. Even more so than last season.

I think they will be a good playoff team in 4-6 years, but as of now they are nothing, a cellar-dweller.

But the most dissapointing thing is the Chandler for Brand trade. Brand is a 20, 10 player...Right?

Chandler is a potential 20, 10 player. As in he might not ever be that good, and best case scenario is what you already had.

Again, TPL, they will play, just in limited time as they come along and mostly behind vets. Ruffin started some games at center and he'll back up the starter and the 4 spot. There will probably be another vet back there at 4 or 5 as well.

I just don't think Krause is going to let this team start the season as one who can only hope to go <20 wins. He''s made one aggressive move already and I expect more.

Number 1, I think Fizer will be a far better scorer in the league when it's all said and done. Krause would have preferred Miles, but he knew what Fizer would let him do in time, and now it's happened.

Secondly, Chandler was a gamble, but read some quotes:

More summer fun: Tyson Chandler, who is drawing high praise during rookie-camp sessions at the Berto Center, is enjoying the new-look, continuity offense.

drat...it's not online...I'll type one paragraph.

    Chicago Suntimes:

After one week, insiders insist that it's easy to understand the hype surrounding 18-year old phenoms Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry. Chandler, apparently, has been so impressive that one insider called the trade that brought Chandler and Brian Skinner from the Los Angeles Clippers for Elton Brand a "no-brainer".

    ---------

I've talked with people who have been at Berto during the week and watched practice. Chandler's "work ethic" is fine from all accounts. Everyone marvels at how fast he gets up and down the court, leading breaks, hustling back on defense, and trying to swat every shot he can reach. He's a hard worker on individual drills and seems to pick things up very quickly.

The trade was a gamble, and this is one weeks rookie camp, but it sounds like it was a gamble worth taking.

How many wins would Elton have lead us to this season? [IMG]

Touche' SF3. Next season is a wash anyway unless LA accepts our Ruffin and Guyton for Kobe trade...
