Was out and about last night and man, it was crazy in Big D (Addison)...I watched the first half at home on HD and then at the bars the 2nd half...Better atmosphere at the bar... Great win for a great team...USC was all hype...
I picked USC by a touchdown and I'm here to admit that I was wrong. The missed call was unfortunate, but I think overall the game was great and I'm happy for UT's victory.
True, that was claerly an interception, as the ground can not cause a fumble...and it did lead to 3 points for USC. However, UT still won, so I call it even on mistakes. DD
Yeah, I would say regardless of which side you're cheering for, this was a very exciting game and the officiating wasn't enough of a factor to detract from any fan's enjoyment. To Trojan fans: You guys had a great run and kicked UCLA's ass this year. It's been a heck of a ride!
Congrats to the Longhorns. I hate UT more than I hate the French (being an Aggie), but you have to give the victor his due. Texas played one hell of a game and Texas and its fans deserve to celebrate. You can blame officiating, but bad calls are a part of the game. You live with it and you move on. That illegitimate touchdown takes nothing away from Texas' victory. Congrats to UT.
I never understood that... I root for OU and A&M and any other Big 12 or Texas team against other teams and esp. Bowl games. To each his own... And speaking for all UT fans... ... thanks!
