If the Astros offence keeps playing at the same pace that they are now 60 wins will be a stretch at least the pitching is getting a little better
7-10 mabe I was a little hard on them I'll give up giving a forcast this year and root for them to win GO ASTROS
If the starting pitching keeps up all season they could end up above .500 and in the wild card race, until late September. But that is a big if. Right now they could win as low as 70 games and if all goes well as high as 87-88 games
Without any moves its just hard for me to see them winning more than 75 games. I know Pence and Lee will come around by May but we got pretty much minor leaguers at 2b when Kaz is playing, ss and c. Including the pitcher spot its hard to overcome 4 holes in the lineup.
the astros have played much better defence this year then last. and if oswald is back wendy repests last year and myres has a good season and if they can ave. 4 runs a game who knows they could shock the leauge but it is unlikly 75 wins is a good bet but i hope they can pull a 81-81.
Somthing tells me the Astros are in for a long painful season. Though I still have the Rockets and Texans to look Forward to.
Good thing about being terrible this year is that we have a chance to draft Anthony Rendon out of Rice next yr. Scouts think he will be a super star and it wont take him years and years to join the club. David Wright type of player.
I hope we can get him I hope we can trade lee for prospects and draft picks as well Though I am for bilding though the farm system but I still think adding a few free agents here and there won't hurt
