I like your thinking. None of these guys are going to get any minutes this year. So apart from contract consideration, the most important criterion should be how likely the player is going to develop into something useful, especially under Adelman's system.

Cut the cheapest, untradable (or with low trade value) ones, period. To me they are JL3, Reed and Novak.

Like other posters said, on court value is not that important because none of these guys will see any PT and will be on IL 80% of time. Bulter stays because no matter how bad he is on the court, he is a 22 years old 7 footer.

I really like Snyder, solid roleplayer who can defend, but we are just to deep in the backcourt.

Lucas, Snyder, and Reid, unless you could move Brooks to the NBDL.

Lucas has not shot, neither does Snyder. Reed is dead would. Haven't seen anything encouraging from Brooks other thanhis speed.

I picked my three but would love to see Sura STAY. It's not my $$$ so I'd love the owner spending his $$$ with Sura's contract and someone (Rafer?) and getting a guy like - - Murph + #1.

    My hope: JL3, Butler, Novak
    My predication: JL3, Bulter, Reed.

I think Butler must be a goner. He is the reason that Cavaliers won't pull the trigger on the Scola deal with Spurs(together with they don't really know how good Scola is).

Novak really disappoints me. He even looks worse than last year. I used to think he is on par or better than JJ Reddick, Guess I'm wrong.

Reed and JLIII will most likely get cut..the third guy... either Butler, Novak, or Snyder. I'm thinking Novak since Butler and Snyder have some trade bait value.

I'm confused. Do we need to cut three or four, including Sura? Note. I have not read the whole thread.

Keep those with the greatest trade value, if any, since none of them will play much.

Got my answer. A total of four including Sura.

I really want us to keep Novak, but at this point, I would just like to get it over with and for the roster to be set so that we can focus on the season and on winning!
