I don't know much about either players, but you're comparing a guy who was a ROOKIE vs. a guy who was in his 5TH YEAR. Don't think the comparison is fair. And if you look at shooting % alone, then a player like Allen Iverson shouldn't have lasted in the NBA as long as he did (46% career best, 42% career avg).
Not worth it to me. I strongly prefer Lamb to Brooks. With Kevin Martin, we really don't have room for Brooks. Even though it may take a long time to get the pick, it has good potential to be a lotto pick one day.
Most guys who don't play defense, never get good at it. I could see him developing into a solid 6th man providing instant offense. If I have the Heat, Lakers, or Thunder's 1st rounder, and I had an open spot at SG, no problem, but that isn't the Rockets.
