Major storylines to watch heading into training camp for the Rockets

You have to get in practice and on bench to maximize your full potential as Boban BFF.

 

While I expect only 3-4 current Rockets to be a significant piece of the next good Rockets team, other guys will be needed for trades, and the better they are, the better the returns.

 

All eyes on Silas.

Will he go for wins over the development of younger talent. Example Tate finishing a close game over Smith. Gordon getting starter’s minutes pushing Easton / Martin or others out of the rotation.

Will Silas keep the game plans so simple that the other team knows what’s happening more than our own players do.

Can Silas coexistence with the new coaching staff, most of which is more successful then him.

Can / will he be the leader of the team instead of everyone’s best friend.

Silas has to change for the team to change.

 

Technically this will be the last week we go without NBA basketball.
