    My feeling is Chris Jent.

Though I could see Chaney or Willis as possibilities too..

i'm starting to believe that it will be cheaney. not only is he an ex rocket, but an ex coach of the year. and to top things off an ex knick! of course JVG would bring him in.

in a distant second is lucas. mario is third (he did interview for the job in JVG's first year).

not likely but possible: clyde, hakeem, moses, kenny.

If I had to bet, that's who I'd bet on. Don Cheaney, good coach too.

Not a Major deal, but Lucious Harris just got cut by the Cavs. He would be a nice backup for TMac and at SG, especially if we don't resign JB.

Yeah, I don't post a lot, but I've been on this board under a different name (before contributing) since probably mid-2001, so I feel that it is somewhat in my power to officially say this thread sucks. It has become a trite banter b/t members about who is going to be an ASST. COACH or if so-and-so sucks and so on. I know its the offseason, and its a lonely time for fans in our position, but this is just really annoying. I check this thread every day for some news, and perhaps plausible, insight on the part of 'derrick' "friend of a friend of JVG" because I am (just like most of you) that desparate for news -- especially stimulating news about the team. Yet, I just find dialogues about nothing. Maybe I'm drunk, maybe I'm bored. I guess its every paying contributers right to post crap, but in my humble opinion this is just too much ****. Keep rockin' Gentlemen and until the Draft (at least).

P.S. If I get flamed than its probably by 'flamers'.

    agreed

.. as for a deal with Wesley & "two trades" - [mind you, this is just speculation]

...maybe we trade Wesley to Memphis for Williams and the 19th (they have been rumored to be willing to give the 19th pick away for someone who will take Williams of their hands)

then maybe the rockets package 19 & 24 to move into the lottery

I had a smile on my face tonight and I hate the Spurs. The one thing that makes me happy is that the Spurs have not been able to win one without a Rocket yet!
