I don't hate the bible. There is beauty, love, and encouragement in many of the verses. If I raise a valid point that if you believe one thing in the Bible, you have to believe everything, don't turn around an accuse me of "hating" on the Bible. Just respond to the issues raised.

How is regulating premarital sex in any way harder than regulating sex with minors? Should we stop trying to regulate that too? It has nothing to do what can and can not be regulated, but only what should or should not be regulated.
Given, but that example, (i.e. "buttsex is bad") is not exactly a huge discussion about homosexuality or love as we know it today. The bible does not condemn homosexuality, or homosexual feelings (i.e. homosexual love), etc.
God made the important things clear. Things about Jesus. As far as most of the bible, you cant take it all literally. So i agree with you. In the end, John 3:16 is about all you need! very clear. Do i think same sex marriage is a sin? yes. Do i think me offending you is a sin? yes (not that i would ever try to) . Does God look at all sins the same? yes, but he understands that some sins can lead you more astray from him, which can make them worse sins. Another thing, at least we get to have these debates over things. In some countries you cant. That is why I love being a Christian American!
Again, not a semantics issue. Choosing to not have / delay having kids is a luxury we can afford no longer being in the cold war. If we needed to start out-birthing the reds again we'd see another baby boom. You can bet your ass on that sweetheart.

Thats not the point. My point was the govt does regulate gay marriage, obviously b/c its illegal in some states. For example, if I was 18, 20 , 40 , or even 99 and wanted to have sex with a girl, i don't have to go get a paper signed by the govt. It's not illegal it have premarital sex.
Marriage was a religious title. When the gov decided to regulate marriage, they made it a legal title. The way things are now, you have to go through the government to get your marriage license. The government is discriminating based on sexual preference when it denies same sex couples from obtaining one.
