so a couple of friends are living overseas now and they are getting mails for some credits and stuff like that. they have no permanent address here, but would like to use my address for their mails. anyone done that before? is that okay? thanks.
There is nothing wrong with having their mail delivered to your address. They can also have the post office hold their mail if they are going to periodically be around to get it.
are you sure you'd want to get other people's junk in your mail? I'm sure you already have enough of those everyday. Just tell your friends that it's technically a federal offense and if you get caught you can go to jail.
cool. thanks guys. actually, it's my parents asking me these. i don't know what to tell them. i guess they will be getting tons of junk mail then.
Except that the OP was unaware if this is something that can be done. Your answer would be very confusing to him.
