dwight howard's post game is useless? you're a damn idiot. stop posting. lol what? seriously...come on guy.
You're right....Last season in the NBA finals, Dwight Howard's post game reminded me of Hakeem....Hakeem Warrick. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bFDGN-lENPo&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bFDGN-lENPo&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
He averaged 15 pts and 15 boards on 60% shooting in the finals. he had a couple games with a lot of turnovers but for the most part he didn't get help.
and by 60% shooting you mean 60% FT shooting right? Which he ended up pulling a Nick Anderson in Game 4. Dwight shot below 50% FG in the series. Lol at thinking he didn't get help, maybe he just get exposed...again.
heh...his ft shooting for the last 5 games: 4-11 14-16 4-8 7-8 8-9 dwight is not shaq, he works on his fts. he doesn't even have bad form, and he's only 23. you're a hater, for real.
His touch is horrible and he's a streaky FT shooter, see Tim Duncan if you want to see a similarity in FT shooting.
So you post a vid of Dwight getting blocked by Hakeem Warrick. Yet you're a huge supporter of Yao Ming. Does the name Nate Robinson ring a bell?
They are very dangerous, no doubt. I must admit that i'm a little surprised over how they are using Brandon Bass. I figured Bass would start to begin the season (in Shard's absence) and would help Dwight absolutely punish teams on the glass. I guess SVG prefers playing a shooter at the four -- definitely helps with spacing so that's understandable.
Yao wasn't doing a post move when he got block, he was going up for a dunk and finishing. Dwight is clueless out there and you know it.
I don't know about you but the team I am rooting for most is the Rockets, man! who said they are out of the picture? this attitude should not be accepted around here! lol, the Rockets ARE winning and they are going to show that they will continue to be in the playoff picture all season long. I mean granted, I have the Magic on my choice of teams to watch on Broadband, but this is a Rockets message board, man! How can you give up on this amazing team? now? at 4-2?
Uh, the Rockets are out of the picture simply because they are. I thought everyone accepted it as fact but apparently the Rockets have some very delusional fans. There's no virtually no chance of Yao Ming coming back, and even if he does, he's probably gonna play like a rusty Big Z. Even if Tmac comes back in his prime (aka as good as Kobe), we're still playing with 70% capspace against teams who are paying lux tax. The Celts, the Lakers, the Spurs and of course the Magic are all talented, deep teams. More importantly, 3 of them have a player who is strictly better than Tmac, even at his prime (KG, Duncan, Kobe). I'm all for making the playoffs and making some noise this season, but barring a Gasol type lopsided trade anybody who says we are still contenders with Yao and Tmac coming of injury are kidding themselves. Everyone who's calling the Magic chokers didn't really watch that team IMHO. The main reason why the Magic got mauled last season was because of depth issues more than anything else. The team last year only had Rashard and Hedo as their main offensive weapons, and both those guys were defensive liabilites. That worked out fine because DH was usually better than the opponent's C and PF combined, but he got schooled by Gasol. Kobe, Odom and Ariza took turns shutting Rashard and Hedo down, and they all exploited Rashard and especially Hedo's god awful defense. That won't happen this year. Jameer's back, DH improved his post game somewhat and ft a little bit. They replaced Hedo with Carter, signed a real PF, got another Rashard clone, and Pietrus improved on his game this summer and became one of the league's better 2 way players. Just for kicks they got a recovered white chocolate and signed Matt Barnes as well. Add keeping Gortat and JJ Reddick finally getting out of Stan's doghouse, and well, the difference between last year's roster and this year's is like the Lakers pre-and post Gasol.
I'm not talking about the playoffs, I'm talking about winning the championship. So you're saying the Rockets as they are will beat the Spurs, the Nuggets, the Lakers and either the Celtic, Magic or the Cavs in 7 games each?
Well 6-10 sophomores who shoot well, score 15 pts and play smart aren't exactly a dime a dozen now, are they? I was talking about in context to Bargnani and Yi's performance so far, guys who have similar games to him. Anderson's performance is pretty similar to Bargnani and way better than Yi, and those guys are top 10 lottery picks.
