So did Weisbrod actually say "We'll be better without McGrady's attitude "??? or did the AP make that title up??

If so, thats pretty bush league journalism.

They were the worst team in the league, I think it is pretty safe to say they will be better off without T Mac. I know it was a good trade for you guys but T Mac's behavior last season was pathetic. He didn't defend, blasted his teammates, and quit. If Steve Francis would have done that crap, I can only imagivne the bile that would be spread over his name.

Think about it, even as bad as Steve has been( in the eyes of Rocket fans), you guys have never been close to being the worst team in the NBA. Never!

Orlando was stuck with too many big contracts like Grant Hill's, Juwon Howards' and TMacs to get TMac any help...

So, of course, he's not going to have the best attitude when every night he has to score 30 just for Orlando to be in the game...

I don't blame Orlando or TMac's attitude, it was the situation...

Orlando had their hands tied up and TMac had to play whether the liked the situation or not...

"There were seven or eight teams that were perfectly comfortable trading for Tracy whether he wanted to go there or not, whether he would opt in or not," Weisbrod said. "So, we certainly weren't in any kind of corner."

    Riiiiiiiiigghhht.

Im sure every team in the league would have some sort of offer for the league's best scorer. But there was really only one offer that was realistic.

Nice try jackass. I hate this dude.

Careful...talking in hyperboles can get you in trouble. According to your profile, you are older than me, so surely you remember the Rockets team (believe it was the '82 team - it was the year before Sampson became a Rocket) that won 14 games and had Caldwell Jones start at center. :p

Let's all ease up on Weisbrod. Remember, when a couple breaks up, you can always tell who broke up with whom by which one badmouths the other. The one doing the badmouthing is the one to feel sorry for.
