    You think we'd give up both Lamb and Parsons in a trade for a potential rental where, in the past, teams have given up much less to get their star, who was on a 2 year contract and none of those teams had to take back garbage contracts?

    Orlando's lost all leverage here, thanks in part to Dwight's agents. Morey is smart; have some faith. Whether we get him or not, we'll win either way. We'll have a star to build around, finally, or we get to see our young guns develop and hope for a top 3 pick next year.

    Anybody see the Morey article on Real GM?

    He said he plans on pulling off what Boston did in 08 with the big 3.I guess he's going all in with Dwight/Bynum and then he will use the rest of the pics/rookies to get another star to pair with Dwight/Bynum and Lin.

    Iggy/Gay/Jsmoove would be nice targets to pair with Dwight/Bynum.

    Bill Ingram just said in his chat that Houston is looking at Rudy Gay.Not that I believe him just passing his message.

    I guess Morey want's to pair Gay with Dwight/Bynum.

    If Ingram said it then it's all but garunteed to be a fabrication of his imagination or a flat out lie. Ingrams only source of information is anonymous tweets or emails from people just throwing mudd against the wall to see what sticks.

    I take this to mean that Houston has had no discussions about Rudy Gay and Daryl Morey has not given the possibility a single thought.

    What's the point of Gay, when, we can still start Martin and boost up his trade value/start Lamb and let him develop once Martin is gone, and Parsons should be locked in as our SF. No need for Rudy.

    Morey needs to make one or more of our Western Conference rivals weaker. That 2nd/3rd star ought to be CP3, Kevin Love, James Harden, or Serge Ibaka, etc. Just say no to bringing in another Eastern Conference All-Star and letting Miami have a cakewalk through the playoffs.
