Magic GM made it clear in the beginning of summer, they wouldn't let him decide where he wanted to go. But of course his decision will likely to affect the offers make to magic that is team that he is willing to stay are willing to give up relatively more.

Even though it didn't happen and teams agree it's clear that Orlando's GM is looking to send Howard where he wants to go... If he sends him to Houston that shows he is has balls if he sends him to Lakers or Nets somehow that shows me he cares more about how he is viewed by agents and other superstars moreso for the future.

Makes sense. He isn't involved in the package.

I'd be pissed, it would probably mean the trade fell through. Lamb almost has to be part of the package.

You say that as if there's something wrong with that?

That's a GM's job to have good relationships with players AND agents.

Ones that dont, dont have jobs as GM for long.

    Simple.

They have not officially announced any of them. Royce White's tweet can be taken literally or figuratively.

He was basically just saying that he would gladly give up the money he is now making to have his friend back.

Rockets Royce White and Terrence Jones have signed their rookie deals, source said. Jeremy Lamb expected to sign in coming days.

Guess the Dwight trade is dead unless we're only giving up Motiejunas

Trade is definitely dead. Guess the reports of the Magic wanting to keep Dwight until the deadline and maybe beyond is true.

I was looking forward to having Howard on the team. Ah well. :(

Hennigan is going to regret being a stubborn douche bag. I sincerely hope he walks at the end of the year and Orlando gets nothing.

Well the trade is on hold for 30 days. Unfortunately the drama may not be over.

.... so if a trade were to happen it would have to wait until August 25 or even later.
