Clutchfans wants D12 ASAP. We really have no idea in how Morey and Co. have been speaking with Hennigan and The Magic. We drive our selves half-crazy because we have no real insider info and it seems all we get is spin and drivel from Dwight's camp.

Murray has a real good poker face, and I doubt he's sweating as much as we are. Sure, he may be annoyed, but so it the rest of the sports world. The man is calculated, and has shown he isn't afraid to call bluffs and play hardball.

I think when Morey signs contracts with all the rookies, the offer for DH will be off the table. So far, only D-Mo was signed and he can be traded after Aug 5th. Correct me if I am wrong on this contract thing...

Options from Morey are still on the table for Hennigan. The ball is on Magic court. All we can do is wait and see who makes the next move...

^Yep signing the rookies will surely mean that we're moving on...for now.

i wouldn't revisit the trade if I was Morey. Too much to risk.

In his tweet, Rudolph also included a link to the opening theme to Danger Mouse....DM. Now I know I might seem like Black Dynamite or Glenn Beck finding a conspiracy theory out of thin air, but Black Dynamite was right, so there's a 50/50 chance:

Could he mean Donatas Motiejunas? He can't be traded yet, but the teams can agree to a trade, I believe, and then consummate it when he's eligible.

I don't know, man. Rudolph wants nothing more than being his personal manager with an office in Manhattan. Maybe he's so desperate to go to the Nets that he's willing to make sure that the only team who has his Bird's Rights doesn't want him.

I think the rookies are nice but the probability that one of them becomes a star is extremely remote. We need (as much as I personally don't care for the guy) Howard here. Paired with Lin, we'll regain much of our lost appeal for both fans and free agents. Hopefully Morey's master plan is coming to fruition and SOON.

Yep, I guess this is what they are planning to do. Morey doesn't seem to put a lot of hope on Dwight trade any more.

    Steve Kyler
On Dwight Howard and the Magic meeting this week...

The Magic do not have a trade involving Dwight Howard they will do... they have tried ever angle and whats possible to do is not a good deal for the Magic. You may not agree, but that's how they see it.

There is still a sense that something can be resolved with Dwight... not sure there really is... but whats the harm in talking, especially when Rob Hennigan does not have a relationship with Dwight.

Not sure Dwight is going to play this any differently than he has... but again, whats the harm in talking and sharing ideas.

I also think there is some substance to testing the idea of Dwight coming to camp. How does he respond to that, whats the general feel. Can it work? How do you know until you talk to him and see where his head is at.

I wouldnt worry about what any of those dumb fools say, we've heard all before back when NJ were the "front-runners" even though Orlando were never really interested in Lopez ENOUGH to give Dwight up

I think its obvious what they are looking for in a trade , and i think its also obvious we provide that better than any team currently.
Therefore patience is the biggest key to all this until both parties are absolutely content with the trade nothing will happen, so it could be a day it could be a month , but i guarantee Howard will not be in a Magic uniform when the season starts.

This really sucks! How are we ever supposed to be a contender if we have @$$holes like Dwight that won't even give Houston a shot?! We may not be like LA, but we are ranked #5 in the NBA as far as worth. This is ridiculous! It's not like we are the Milwaukee Bucks!

    http://www.centraloregonathlete.com/feature/nba-teams-ranked-by-worth-portland-14th-out-of-30/

    1 – New York Knicks – $655 – Biggest market… biggest worth.
2 – Los Angeles Lakers – $643 – Second largest market… you get the idea.
3 – Chicago Bulls – $511 – Big market. Sports town. And they are winning again!
4 – Boston Celtics – $452 – Celtics are right up there with the Lakers, Cowboys and Yankees when it comes to franchises.
5 – Houston Rockets – $443 – You can thank Yao Ming for this. The Rockets are huge in China.
    6 – Dallas Mavericks – $438
7 – Miami Heat – $425 – The big 3. LeBron James joining the Heat upped their worth by 17%. The most in NBA history.
    8 – Phoenix Suns – $411
9 – San Antonio Spurs – $404 – They just win and with pretty much the same guys doing the winning every year.
    10 – Toronto Raptors – $399
    11 – Orlando Magic – $385
    12 – Golden State Warriors – $363
    13 – Detroit Pistons – $360
14 – Portland Trail Blazers – $356 – They aren’t the largest market, but they are the only NBA team in the entire Pacific Northwest and the only pro team in all of Oregon (soon to change with the Portland Timbers of MLS).
    15 – Cleveland Cavaliers – $355
    16 – Utah Jazz – $343
    17 – Philadelphis 76ers – $330
18 – Oklahoma City Thunder – $329 – With two of the best young players in the NBA, it’s a shame they aren’t in Seattle anymore.
    19 – Washington Wizards – $322
    20 – Denver Nuggets – $316
    21 – New Jersey Nets – $312
22 – Los Angeles Clippers – $305 – Don’t be surprised to see this go up. The Clippers have the market to work with and now they have a team that can sell tickets and a player (Blake Griffin) that can sell jerseys.
    23 – Atlanta Hawks – $295
    24 – Sacramento Kings – $293
    25 – Charlotte Bobcats – $281
    26 – New Orleans Hornets – $280
    27 – Indiana Pacers – $269
    28 – Memphis Grizzles – $266
    29 – Minnesota Timberwolves – $264
    30 – Milwaukee Bucks – $258

I think Morey should call Henny's bluff. Morey should start signing our rookies, one by one. Every day Henny waits, another one gets signed. Morey should apply some pressure to Henny's sack.
