Why are you so confused? For the umpteenth time, In a 3-way tie between Houston, Denver and Utah, the FIRST tie-breaker is the COMBINED head-to-head record against the other two teams. Denver would be 5-3 against Houston and Utah. Houston would be 4-4 against Denver and Utah. Utah would be 3-5 against Houston and Denver. Houston would therefore be the 8th seed. The conference record will NOT be taken into consideration. That's the SECOND tie-breaker, but the FIRST tie-breaker already settled it! Now, please, stop spreading any more faulty analysis.
IF both games go the right way, then, yes. We've let the local media know, and the league has let the national media know. This happens 16 times a year from the league perspective, so they have the drill down. Tim
wow, I did not know this. that's awesome. Glad to read that we can clinch tonight. Kayman was right, I was not.
Now, let's get back to Francis bash... Who do we want to trade him for? Oh yeh, we should just dump him to save some cap money!
In theory Rox may not be in playoffs under one condition: the following happen at the same time: 1. Rox loses to Utah 2. Portland loses to Denver 3. Rox losses to Seattle and Dallas 4. Denver wins all 3 remaining games 5. Utah wins all 3 remaining games.
I'm going to agree with Visagial. There's another thread started discussing the fact we're in... party in there. This one is a monster.
