ironically the Nets would be in better shape financially than the Knicks if/when they match our offer for Lin
Incredibly ironic if Cleveland of all teams crosses the "picket line" and facilitates the lopsided move to form another superteam in a big market at the expense of a small one.
I believe Magic and Nets are colluding these talks for 2 reasons: 1. Nets want to string out Dwight trade until tomorrow evening when they have DWill signed and delivered. They don't want him backing out of his commitment if he sees Dwight has gone somewhere else where he can sign. 2. Orlando is stalling hoping to get Morey to take on more salary, which coincidentally helps the Nets keep DWill on the hook from backing out if there isn't max cap space to possibly sign outright in Houston.
Brook Lopez, etc and a Bushel of picks in the high 20's - Orlando is idiotic to take this . . . I think its leverage to get a better deal somewhere else
Kris Kardashian is scewing it up wanting a long term deal: Kris Humphries is the snag in the Dwight Howard-Nets trade, Marc Spears of Yahoo! reports.
Supposedly, it is either Howard or Lopez at max dollars, so regardless they will be in a similar position (though the max for Lopez would be less).
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA In proposed blockbuster, Orlando would send Dwight Howard, Jason Richardson and Earl Clark to Brooklyn, sources tell Y! Sports.
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA In current structure of deal, Orlando gets Brook Lopez, Damion James, Shelden Williams, Luke Walton and 3 or 4 1st rounders, sources tell Y!
So they get Brook Lopez, some crap and 3 or 4 late first rounders? Really depends on what kind of pick they can get thrown in for whatever team gets Brooks.
No MarShon Brooks? If I was Orlando, I wouldn't do a deal unless he was included. He has the best trade value on the team.
