Oh man that is so easy.... Anyone else want to explain... Obviously I have no clue but that was a pretty cool trick
I saw a couple of his tricks online last night. Dude rocks. Check this out! He just disappears into a suitcase! http://www.jokaroo.com/extremevideos/stunningillusion3.html
I can tell you how it is normally done. However, the sub makes it a little more tricky than the one in the restauraunt. see semi-spoiler below. ................................................. ......................................................... ......................................................... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ............................................. .............................................. ............................................... MAGIC SPOIL: when he writes on the card, and when it is shown, there is usually someone else who gets this information. They then duplicate it. And put the card in the odd place. For example, in a restaurant, someone would be sitting on the inside, recreate the card, and then plaster it on the other side of the glass. With the sub, it becomes much more difficult. But obviously if all is planned out it can be done. The key is that he delays long enough for someone to get the card on the other side of the glass. Now in the case of the sub it would be difficult to hide the scuba diver. But not impossible. As for pulling the card back through the glass. Obviously the card never left the inside of the sub. So that is just slight of hand. He wet the card at any time when people were distracted, or simply did that when he wet the cloth. The only other possible solution is that the card never goes behind the glass. That somehow he gives that impression with an overlay. People sitting at the wrong angle may never even realize the card is still in the sub. Just behind a little piece of glass. But I believe it is all pre-planning. That is the key. I doubt any of this hadn't been practiced in the sub before hand. ................................. ................................. .................................
I can't figure that one out and I haven't seen it before. I like the trick a lot. But I will think about it on my way to the grocery store. Color and angle are somehow the key. But the guy who is standing there holding the suitcase makes it more complicated. Somehow I think he is not all real. As in his legs are probably a fake (like a wall) and the guy simply jumps behind the wall onto a mattress.
To me, the really incredible one was the salt shaker. I can't imagine how that would be done with slight of hand. You look at the table the entire time, and no glass is moved or anything. The salt shaker the girl is holding is not dropped or hidden away. You watch it the whole time and the only place I can imagine it going is into his hand. But freaking HOW?
does he have the support of the Magician's Alliance? cmon michael, a trick is something a w**** does for money.
