That was early on in the season when Jeremy Lin was playing horribly. Most people here who aren't on his bandwagon think Lin is a 24 year old who has barely had much NBA experience and is thus more or less a rookie, a sentiment McHale shares. Then you have knee jerkers, and they exist for everyone. "The official James Harden is not a legitimate 1st option thread" "Patterson is SOFT" Mook and a few other players also had their fair share. Then you also have T-Rob who himself had a lot of knee jerk threads after his FIRST ever game as a Rocket. So can we please stop paying so much attention to Jeremy Lin. He's a 24 year old, practically rookie, still improving. The coach doesn't have 100% full confidence in him yet, but he doesn't have that for Beverly and Smith and D-Mo either.
That doesn't mean he isn't a LOH. It's just that Lin has shut him up with his play and he'll only appear when Lin has a bad game while staying silent when Lin has a good game- the definition of a LOH.
A LOF by definition is someone who doesn't care about the Rockets and only about Lin. A LOH, the exact opposite, is by definition someone who doesn't care about the Rockets but only comes in here to hate on Lin and rile up the place. In other words, trolls. No I don't think he is a "LOH".
And here I was thinking this was a Magic # thread to track the playoff race....still a solid thread nonetheless
