Of course every team over the cap will offer the full MLE to Maggette. It doesn't hurt to ask/offer, but in the mean time you go on with your business as if you are not going to get him. (I don't think the Spurs or Celts will either) Maggette will get more than the MLE and take it, I think from Phily or GS before the offseason is done.
Geez .. some of the additional "sweet" offers mentioned in this thread are simply amazing .. if I had not followed up with the Rockets I would have thought Yao is a shoes BOSS selling shoes and offering free shoes .. Yao has some influences and connections but the way it was promoted is simply unbelievable.
