We got a conservative activist killing the son and trying to kill the husband of a federal judge. And you people think terrorism is graffiti on federal buildings.

Which action figure are you looking for?

There is the common Chad Wolf - suit figure

There is the more rare Chad Wolf - he means business aviator glasses figure
    [IMG]

There is the limited edition Chad Wolf/ Governor Abbott - hunt illegals Christmas edition with mini wheel chair included
    [IMG]

Last is the ultra rate Chad Wolf - COVID19 face mask edition that was pulled from the shelves by the President

At the end of the day, the guy is a douche bag. He went to SMU around the time I was in college (he was a little older than me) and he was trolling for girls back then. When 9/11 happened he turned into an all out weirdo that wanted to send the military to protect Israel and wanted to deport a lot of people in the USA....

Oh i don't doubt he truly believes in the odious actions he engages in - he also believes himself beyond any legal reach, obviously. I don't think this is going to be true in January and I hope that the Biden Administration and whatever relevant state authorities feel otherwise.

My question is more like, if you're trying to lead a behind the scenes fascist takeover - you do it more subtly, like John Roberts stealthily chipping away at voting rights and moving us towards fascism by slow walking Trump cases - when you do things like outright lying to the courts, like the Trump administration did with regard to the Census, you anger Chief Justice Roberts for upsetting all of his deliberate work. These dipshits like Chad Wolf thought think they can just shock and awe their way to dictatorship - the heavy handed approaches haven't really worked and inf act have done the opposite..

"We pursue a criminal, we investigate. . . ." I think Dude got the process backward. You pursue a suspect, clownbrain.

Alright, I will reach out to Stephen Miller and see if he has any to spare, he has been hoarding them..... don't ask if they have the Mexican Wall available, it is still on back order and I am not sure if it will be available by Christmas.

that may be true, but she has been blogging steadily and influentially for 16 years, and constitutional law is/was her area of specialization. Plus I believe her to be a fairly thoughtful and objective observer of politics. I learn a lot from following her, and see things I wouldn't otherwise see--for example this opinion piece from Fox

She doesn't bother me, and I will read what she has to say. She is fairly independent in her thoughts so she is not going to shovel whatever one party puts out there. She has been doing it a long time.

That would take REAL sacrifice. He was working for a Texas senator around that point and then later founded an aviation lobbyist company (I want to say it was aviation)..... he then dipped back into the public sector after Mein Trump was elected..... I remember he made a HUGE deal about how big a sacrifice it was for him to return to the government but had to do it to help the people.

I have a few friends that went to school with his wife and they say she changed. I personally didn't like him when I met him the first time, and did not like him when he was in Padre Island.... he is a little guy that puffs his chest out and tells everyone who will listen how great looking and smart he is.

Based on the latter part of this statement, there is no way someone with Wolf’s views should be leading a governmental agency, especially the Department of Homeland Security. Unfortunately, in Trump’s America, things like this are possible. Trump actively appoints people that don’t represent the values of the agencies they are leading. The EPA is led by a former lawyer that represented a coal magnate in a lawsuit and lobbied against Obama’s environmental regulations. The Department of the Interior is led by a former lawyer and lobbyist that worked on the side of energy companies and water/sewer districts during environmental disputes. The Department of Energy is led by a former VP at Ford Motor Company who also later served as head of public policy and senior vice president at USAA (an auto insurer).

And I will point out again that Federal authorities played no role in calming down Minneapolis.
