What does she get out of this? She's already relevant. She's got money. The photos are not that professional. She certainly doesn't need the self gratification. Just don't see what purpose this serves.

I think most celebrities live on the gratification of fame and attention. Madonna, especially, became famous (and stayed famous) by being shocking. Not surprised she’s still chasing that kind of attention.
She’s always had the ability to completely transform her look entirely. In the 2000’s she came out of nowhere looking like a CrossFit chick with those pythons. However that was like my least favorite Madonna music era. Ray of light and the Cowgirl sh$t sucked. That movie she did as a rich B stranded with a deckhand was just laughably bad. Right now though I just don’t really know what she’s providing from an art perspective. I’m totally fine with Madonna sort of relaunching herself in the way she does (sexualize shock art) but it means nothing if there isn’t really something to go along with that worth listening to or watching.
I recall her flopping around in a wedding dress like a slut in 1984 MTV awards when I was 12. Wasn't even impressed then...
