Yeah it's pretty much the same...I didn't play it much last year though, but everything I've seen is the same. Oh, and the music is much better on this game! Lol I still don't know how you improve your player's stats in superstar mode.
For some reason I want to buy it but I also need to save my money. But I dunno. I rented like 07 for the wii and it was actually pretty fun. So stupid they went with that look. Even if it looked like a PS2 game it'd be fine. Though Madden 11 wii actually does have a new franchise mode, and apparently its the only one with changes to franchise mode, which interested me, but reading reviews apparently a lot of those changes dont work out. eh. good thing i have a 360 too.
Just bought this game and the Strategy pad is the worst idea since the QB vision. Makes me not want to play the game.
Takes some getting used to, but its not that bad...Im actually pretty quick with it. Only thing I dont like is that I used to do hot routes for my receivers much quicker...it would maybe take me 4 seconds to hot route 3 receivers, but now, it'll take 10 seconds. All the other stuff with the strategy pad are ok, imo.
I guess I just haven't got used to it yet. I don't play online but people seem to worry about it on there the most. I think I just need to play with it for a while and I should be okay with it. How long have you had the game?
Hope it doesn't freeze on ya. The first couple days I played it, it was fine, but then it would freeze in the middle of a game. But now the past couple days it seems to be working fine. And it's not the system, I've tried other games as well.
Yeah when I first made that post I didn't know what to do really. Now I figured it out. I still like the old way though because I'm used to it. The hot route does take longer on the d pad. My main problem is on defense since I usually make a few adjustments on that side of the ball.
I heard they are going back to the old way of changing stuff at the line in a few weeks. You have an option the D pad or the old way.
