jon barry. yes i love those transition long range jumpers. low percentage for most people but you can't argue with the results. plus he's the best passer on the team.
I love his passing, even his pass fakes. For him, the behind-the-back passes don't look like showboating, they're the only way to get the ball through traffic. He can really thread the needle. He seems to play the game at 100% intensity, but never out of control. Always seems to make the right decisions.
Yeah JB is easily my favorite player on the Rockets...I love his shooting and passing ability and his spark off the bench...I do think he is TOO unselfish because he does pass up some open shots sometimes but he's a great fit on this Rockets team...him and Wesley started the rebirth of the Rockets this season
JB is the man who has been consistently making the correct decisions on the floor. I love his bball IQ, his timely passes to Yao and other teammates, his cool 3 points, and his right on fast break. I was also one of who really wanted his brother Brent this last summer. Now I'm very happy we have JB.
JB is badd *ss. When Barbossa knocked him down with what should have been a flagrant foul- I thought Jon Barry was going after him. Glad Wesley was right there to restrain him. The look in JB's eye says it all - really scary - Barbossa wanted no part of that.. JB add the hustle and leadership we need. Chemistry is great with this guy coming off the bench. Lot of heart!
