    Yeah because the Owners agreed to this ultimately. They decided to give players this power and good for the players. Silver works for the owners, he can't force them to do something they don't want to do.

    It's not like people pay to watch Tilman do anything. I certainly prefer Silver to any of the other league commissioners.

    If the league is serious about public health and the safety of the older coaching staffs/ancillary staff on their team they will fine and suspend Harden seriously for each violation.

    Exactly, the only question was "would Harden go there" and the answer appears to be "yes" and this really shouldn't be a shock. Fans don't like it, but the NBA is a league where star players get what they want........ not even to the point of being traded, but often where they want to be traded.

    Right, which is why I think the team is best served by keeping him away. Suspend him, and don’t allow him near the team. He clearly can’t be trusted to adhere to basic protocols.

    Suspend him for the YEAR due to COVID-19 pandemic. NBA already lost BILLIONS, will lose more, and this crybaby could cost the entire SEASON that so many have worked their asses off to try to pull off!! Nobody player or person is above a NBA team or the entire league and season.

    Silver should bring the hammer like Stern did with Ron Artest.

    James, you lose an entire year for putting yourself above 500 players and their families, 100s of coaches and their families, and the hundreds of folks that rely on THIS season to make a living when many cannot.

    My guess is you dislike him because of his politics, I didn't bring them up, but you did so it sounds like that's what's on your mind.

    But the NBA has done phenomenally well under him and he's mostly been fair.

    The NFL changes its rules every year so that it's less and less the sport it was supposed to be.

    The MLB commissioner brings the hammer down on the Stros while ignoring every other team that's done shady stuff along with the funny business they do with baseballs.

    It's really not that close to me. Silver is the best commisioner. Mostly stays out of the way and focuses on growing the sport.
