Look at it like this.......... did Leonard get what he wanted? Did Anthony Davis get what he wanted? What about Paul George? Did the Thunder deal Westbrook where he wanted? LeBron James gets to run a damn agency where players are funneled to the team he plays for.

Players at that very peak get whatever they want....... and Harden is aware of that........

Harden needs better people around him to help him with his judgement. Once adidas pulls that contract he’ll see how foolish he’s been acting

Not if Harden wins a title......... if James goes elsewhere, there will be very angry Rockets fans blaming the GM and the owner....... and we all know how thin skinned Fertitta is.

He is making it harder and harder to keep supporting him. I'm almost at my wit's end.

Some of you guys would shine the bottom of Harden’s shoes on a Sunday with nothing else to do. Pathetic

The Rockets have had an extended run of putting out good teams. Maybe it’s our turn for a set back and reset. It may be another 4 or 5 years, or more, for us to get back to where we were.

I’m just ready for the Rockets to move on from this crap. Easy for me to say, admittedly.

He's taking advantage of the strip clubs in Texas because the clubs in NJ, and Philly and Toronto are not nearly as good.

Like i said in the other thread, in a battle of uncomfortableness, the players will always win. Tilman has no chance in this game. He has only one trick; to fine him until he cooperates.

Harden ,on the other hand, has alot more tools in his disposal. He can continue to violate NBA covid protocol throughout the season to go party. He can bully the staff and rookies to create a very unpleasant locker room. He can kick a puppy on his way to work. The Rockets cant take these PR hits or have a season long dysfunctional locker room. They will eventually cave and trade harden for a subpar deal.

Yes, I'm aware. And Adam Silver has all but allowed breach of contract. He's been a terrible commissioner but gets praise because he gives good PR interviews to Rachel Nichols and whatnot.

I think the only way he wins a title is if he is a 2nd option somewhere. It looks like the one deal that could put him in that situation, Brooklyn, isn’t happening. He’d have a decent shot with Philly, but at the end of the day the burden would still fall directly on him in crunch time, in the playoffs. The same would be true for Denver and Toronto deals.

Could anyone imagine Stern allowing any of this crap?

I think Silver has tried too hard to be the players' "friend" . . . rather than boss of the whole thing. That strategy is starting to backfire now in a big way

Yes Montreal Strip clubs are pretty good. From what I've been told. ;-) Strong US dollar.

Maybe. But one thing about Tilman, he is a stubborn SOB. I could see him using this as an opportunity not to pay James, save some money and punish him at the same time, while waiting for an acceptable trade offer to come around. This might be EXACTLY what Tilman wanted actually. Will be interesting to see which direction it goes.
