Onething he does have over all the others is that his team doesn't have a losing record. He's contributing to a playoff team.

yeah i saw some players with similar numbers which is why i wasn't sure if he would get in. his contribution to a good team is probably what got it for him.

Actually I really liked that game. Nobody really cared about the final score anyway, so I'm glad they turned it into an impromptu dunk-a-thon.

What an intimidating crew. Rookies should get stomped. I was surprised Farmar made the team over the likes of Sheldon Williams and Craig Smith. I mean does Farmar's 5.8 ppg, 2.2 assists, 1.7 boards really make him worthy of any special recognition? I guess the rookies are just really bad.

u don't see jordan farmar play enough then. Farmar is really good, good basketball iq, good passing ability and defending skill and a pretty consistent 3 point shooter

Actually, it will be tough watching in some ways, given how poorly Illinois has played this year without their former stars. Luther & Deron playing together will definitely make things very tough on the Rookies. Those 2 (along with Dee Brown) were unstoppable in 2005.

What about the 3 point shooting contest??? He should get a chance at that too.

He deserves the trey contest too along with kudos on making the rookie All-Star team. All this pushes up his trade value dramatically.
