I agree with the posters that say he could fit in with the Heat or Lakers in a very well defined, limited role. If you try to have him do more than his role, you'll end up disappointed. Just ask the Rockets.
You can't expect the full package just because you got Head. You just have to be content with what you get and don't expect anything more. But in seriousness yeah... Luther is a good role player, but that is all he will ever be.
Head is barely an NBA player. Some of the other guys CD gave to JVG's teams barely deserve to be treated with human dignity.
If we did go after Head. Only the Rockets Organization actually gets Head. We the fans get nothing except the joy of watching Head performing out there on the court and on the sidelines... I envy the lucky fan that gets some of Head when he goes for some loose balls...
Maybe Memphis or Minnesota can team up Gay-Love. Sign Luther and they could form the trio of Love-Gay-Head.
As a 6'3 jumpshooter with no handles or driving ability, it's pretty remarkable hes been in the NBA for as long as he has. just a testament to how good a shooter he can be (when he's wide open).
They need to also bring Wang back from China so they can have Love - Gay - Wang - Head .. the new big 4 or since Yi sounds like y (and) in spanish they need Love - Gay - Head - Y(i) - Wang There is your starting 5
He's a decent 3-point shooter (one season he was near the top in the NBA in 3-point %), but I cannot forget how unbelievably horribly he sucked in the playoffs. It was really painful to watch.
