Trade Head or bench him...team will improve 50%
Trade Rafer or bench him...team will improve another 60%

That's a 110% percent improvement if we just do these 2 things.

Head makes stupid plays, but don't RA AND MJ make stupid plays too? SF? Nowadays, the top tier teams all have a PG who is a deadly shooter.
Nash, Parker, Deron Williams, Paul, what about their FGP? Some of them are over 50%. When they can dish the ball out and shoot the ball at the same time, the defense is destroyed.

Whatever shooting he brings at the pg position is far outweighed by his turning the ball over and dribbling into the paint like a headless chicken. Not to mention, the only perimeter player in the entire league that luther head may be able to guard is Jason Kapono, and thats a huge maybe.

Head played 10 minutes at the point in the 4th quarter last night.

His line: 2-4 FG, 0-1 3P, 1 AST, 1 TO, 1 BS, 4 pts..... I thought he ran it pretty smoothly last night, save the turnover. And his +- was +5.

The only other ROcket with a + was James at +1....

    Rafer and T-Mac had a -10... Ouch!

How the hell do you put in Luther Head, who hasn't played the whole game, in during the 4th quarter and give him pg duties and let him go one on one a few times, which was a disaster? This is especially puzzling when you have a player of Steve Francis's caliber on the bench who can do those exact things better than most players in the league.
