fellow Fighting Illini, just sent him a friend request .. it really might be him, when they're at college they're like everyone else except they attract a crowd when they throw alleyoops to one another during pickup games

At Michigan, guys like Braylon Edwards, Michael Phelps, Lloyd Carr, and Charles Woodson all have facebook accounts. This is in addition to "lesser known" athletes who play football/basketball (which I would say 85% have accounts). Don't underestimate the facebook!

I'm friends with both Diener and Shelden Williams, and actually got the chance to talk to Williams online. Really nice guy. And yes, Diener really is a facebook w****.

    i sent him this msg:

hey, luther! i've been a rockets fan all my life and even though i may not know you personally, i thought it'd just be as good as an autograph if you added me to your friends list. i know that i may come off as some dork after sending this, but i love my rockets and the fact that you're on my hometown's team wins my biggest respects. anyway, good luck on this upcoming season b/c i really think we will be in the finals with the pacers this year! and check out www.clutchfans.net if you ever want to see the best fan site in all of sports. some of your current teammates and even people working the office for the Rockets are members of this site. thanks for reading this far if you have and enjoy being part of the best franchise in the NBA!

facebook isn't that great...i don't know if he'll add me and i feel like a 10 yr old kid now, but just thought i'd give it a shot...and here's to my first post!

I added him as my friend and he hasnt accepted yet. And funny thing, my friends were friends with jarret hicks in middle school, and another friend of mine played against t.j. ford in highschool when he played at willowridge. Just since everyone is talking about schools and altheltes.

Yeah some are fake, some are real. I made a Billy Madison page. Everyone should be friends with him; it's the coolest.
