I don't hate Head to the point that I wish him to be injured like some people here, but I have to dispute your contention that he's a good 3-point shooter.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2763

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/statistics?stat=nba3ptpct&sort=3p%&league=nba&split=0&order=true&row1=51&qual=true&season=2008&seasontype=2&avg=none&pos=all

So he's not dy-no-mite, not this year. He's not even one of the better shooters in the league as you stated in a previous post. The fact that he is currently second on the team at 35.6% is more a condemnation of the team's shooting than it is praise for his own.

Blessing in disguise? Maybe this is one last chance for James or Francis to make an impact on the team.

Uh..... I don't think you know what the heck you're talking about. Luther's stats are deflated this year partly because of the bad shooting the entire team was going through earlier in the season as they struggled to adjust to the new offense. Luther has been *the* best shooter on this team for a long time (well, Novak is attempting to take that crown away now). He was threatening 50% from 3 point land for a while last year.

    There's a reason you're still a rookie

This is one of the stupidest comments i have seen in a while...WHY would you want him gone for the remainder of the season? So mike james can come and stink up the place? You really must not know basketball or your just a Mav or Jazz fan?

You got to be kidding! Luther help us spark the offense when Tmac was down. Hope he get out of that injury.

Thats why the Rockets need to let Clutchfans be one of their media outlets. If somebody from Clutchfans was working the game, we'd probably have a injury update and time table right when the game ended.

Luther is not our best player, but is FAR from our worst. While he defence and passing skills sometimes make you scratch your head, he's been pretty good scoring threat for us. And he's been developing his backdoor cuts, and driving to the basket. All in all on a team like ours (that sometimes makes you scratch your head) we need him for times when other players aren't "on" or are injured. Hope it's nothing serious and he'll be back tonight.

Luther is not enjoying a great year behind the 3-pt line.
Luther is unquestionably a very good three-point shooter.

    Active 3-pt FG% Leaders

Note Ray Allen & Michael Redd are behind him.

All people want here is to have all available guys, so they can compete full strength for the next game.... lol

Have to go into a career perspective to see if Head's worthy of even receiving well-wishes from a fan...Or cuz someone inquires about Luther Head availability, gotta act like that person believe's the season's on the brink cuz their lover boy Luther Head is out....(oh, you actually like Luther HEAD...?)

I sometimes still can't believe I've found such a large contingent of people even sadder than I am.

Head is a solid contributor, but he doesn't do much besides shoot jumpers. He needs to show he can attack the net and finish.

If Head is out, then this can only mean more playing time for AFTER-BURNER!!! Which can only be a good thing.

I wish Adelman would demote Alston, and promote After Burner to start, just like he did with Scola and Hayes. Alston = Chuck Hayes of the PG Position.

AB = Scola / Landry of the PG position.

Exactly the response I would expect from two Mavs fans posing as Rox fans. Luther brings more to the table than Novak, you get rid of Novak before you get rid of Luther.

All of you that don't like head are just ridiculous (no pun intended).

This guy shoots a good percentage from the field, and that is what we need, shooters around Yao that can at least put it into the hole and not shoot 4-14
