Frankly I dont remember them, I think you mean Novak in that one game. Luther didnt do anything for us but Im happy at least somebody wanted him
Hasn't miami always wanted him? I remember pre-scola, there was all this talk of shipping him to miami for some scrub PF.
If anyone thinks Luther Head did nothing for Houston then they probably just read the hate post on the MB and not watch the game. He didn't do anything in the playoffs but in the regular season at times he has shown potential.
I remember when TMac was out one game he scored 30 points against the Warriors season ago. Also this season he saved our butt against Spurs I think scoring 21 points, including some very important points down the stretch.
Riley supposedly was looking to draft him for the Heat several years ago. I think he'll be a good fit next to Wade.
Lol at the question. I wish Luther the best of luck and hope he finds a home in Miami. At least he's in the Eastern Conference where undersized scoring guards can prevail.
Brooks can handle the ball. Brooks can finish in the lane (sometimes). I'm not sold on Brooks being a better long range shooter.
Head signs with Heat I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, if it has, lock it up of course. I heard it on the radio a few days ago, but here's a link to verify. http://www.nba.com/transactions/current_month_transactions.html I know he didn't exactly leave the nets on fire before he left, but he did a great job for most of his time here. He even gave us some great game winners, and who can forget the dunk over Turiaf? Good luck Luther. Hope you get some play time over there.
This belongs in the NBA Dish forum, However, I think Head can fit in quite well. Head is more of a run and gun type player. He can shoot 3's, although inconsistent, he can finish plays on the fast break. However, I have read on many other forums and the title would usually say Heat got Head.
