I doubt Head ever be as good as Mobley. I see him being a servicable backup at PG/SG.

If you watched the kid in college (where he routinely played the three his last two seasons against college small forwards who at least approximate the size of NBA two-guards), you could see someone who has phenomenal athletic ability and a very good first step to the basket, not mention good ballhandling in traffic.

One of the problems Head ran into last year is that he came onto the squad trying to adapt to the one (for which he had limited experience), then found himself quickly starting at the two. That amounts to TWO position changes in the same year for a kid already adapting to a new league, new team, and new system. But he still played admirably all things considered and, assuming he comes into the season in better shape and can keep up his intensity playing slightly fewer minutes, I think his defensive tenacity can improve.

Luther is very poor when you compare him to an unstoppable offensive stud like Ben Gordon. If he averages 14 ppg for us this coming season, that means we made another trip to the lottery because of injuries.

Gordon is NOT an unstoppable offensive stud, if he were, he'd at least be averaging 10 more PPG than he did last year.
