I dont think hes an upgrade at this point in his career. 2-3 years ago, I would jump on this deal without question. But over the last few years its seems as if his production has dropped significantly, and has kinda fallen off the radar. I dont see him being an upgrade of any kind over Rafer, or Brooks.
Now I would trade for Lowry, but I don't know if Head + pick (Memphis 2nd back to them or 1st rounder in 2011) is enough. I they will take it the deal (the trade works sense Memphis is under the cap), sure.
I was surprised to see how bad Ridnour's FG% and 3FG% is for his career. His FT% is very good but he doesn't get to the line enough for that to be a real factor (a little over 2 times a game). http://www.nba.com/playerfile/luke_ridnour/career_stats.html
No thanks. from here on out the rockets need to only look at guys whose contracts end before the 2010 season, or young guys that will be at the begininng of their prime by then. No scrubs like Ridnour to ruin our cap space.
Probably not this season. If Bayless pans out like some expect, the Blazers might give Blake up next summer.
i wouldn't give francis up for that trade, plus brooks is young and has the pontential to become a great player in the nba, even if he is short on stature
Definitely won't be a improvement over Rafer, would be a viable option as a back up PG but for his salary I would rather see what Francis could do once he proves to Adleman that he has gotten back into shape, and Brooks after a season under his belt. Honestly I really don't see the Rockets making any more moves besides minor ones to free up roster space.
